The MGEX recently implemented a web market commentary page which is updated daily with submissions from various market participants. The commentaries may include a market recap for the day and potential opportunities involving MGEX products. This will compliment the MGEX daily phone market commentary which can be accessed at (612) 321-7131 or (800) 827-4746 (outside the Twin Cities). The phone market commentary features grain futures and cash prices as well as grain market commentary.

Live quotes are now available for all of the MGEX Index Contracts. “The Exchange’s addition of live quotes to their website has helped with price transparency for the index products,” stated Fred Rice of Rice Trading.
