Minneapolis Grain Exchange Amends Margin Requirements For Hard Red Spring Wheat

The Minneapolis Grain Exchange (MGEX) Board of Directors has unanimously approved changes to the margin requirements for hard red spring wheat, effective January 10, 2003.

Speculative Margins:

Initial: $975 per contract (down from $1,105)
Maintenance: $750 (down from $850)

Hedge Margins:

Initial: $750 per contract (down from $850)
Maintenance: $750 (down from $850)
