Millennium Exchange Release 9.2 Oslo Børs – CDS Set-Up And Post-Trade Statistics

Oslo Børs implement Millennium Exchange Release 9.2 25 November 2017. The releaese contains adaptions to MiFID II.

CDS set-up to cover partial- and full MiFID II implementation
As previously announced, Oslo Børs will, as of 25 November, referred to as Technical Go-Live, implement many, but not all changes in the Millennium 9.2 MiFID II release. Market participants are able to test both the partial and the full implementation already, in order to cover both the interim period and the actual MiFID II implementation. The CDS Business Parameters documents have been updated for equities and fixed income to reflect configurations. For cash equities, the OBX and OBWR segments are configured with the MiFID II go-live set-up, while all other segments reflect the technical go-live. For fixed income instruments, inclusion to the two different set-ups is not based on trading segment, but the Millennium CDS environment contains fixed income securities with both set-ups during the test period.

Post-trade statistics
Oslo Børs will stop publishing member codes for equity trades as 25 November, referred to as Technical Go-live. The level and frequency of public post-trade statistics will be weekly for the total market, and per instrument on a monthly basis. Members may receive their own market shares per instrument more frequently on a subscription basis.
