Mid-Term Formula One Season 2007: Performance Of The Dow Jones STOXX Grand Prix Index vs. The Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 Index

Since the official start of the 2007 FIA Formula One World Championship season on March 16, 2007 sports' enthusiasts have seen nine spectacular races. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren Mercedes, is the leading driver so far. The Dow Jones STOXX Grand Prix Index which tracks 19 companies involved in the Formula One business is up 22,1%, whereas the Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800 Index comprising the 600 largest companies in the Americas, in Asia/Pacific and in Europe respectively has gained 8,7% only in this time period.
