The MidAmerica Commodity Exchange, a wholly-owned affiliate of the Chicago Board of Trade, announced today trading volume of 61,492 contracts for July 2001.

Total exchange month-end open interest: 17,166, up 30.5% from June 2001
MidAm average daily volume: 2,928
Agricultural futures and options complex trade was 53,036 for July 2001
Financial futures and options complex trade was 4,473 for July 2001
Currency futures complex trade was at 3,536 contracts for July 2001
Metals futures and options complex trade was 447 for July 2001
