ResearchPool launches more internalization of its technical resources, having demonstrated the quality of its platform with its clients through 2018. Mickael Rouffiac joins as Head of Technology.
Pedro Fernandes, CEO of ResearchPool, is pleased with this additional step forward to confirm the capability of the firm to integrate diverse talents at operational levels. “With Mickaël joining the ranks, we will benefit from his recent international experience and extensive network in China. For the company, it was key to add to our skillset and prepare for the future”.
In his role, Mickaël will steer the technical development of the company to further company advancements. He will take charge of enhancing the scalability, the robustness and the security whilst internalizing more staff within ResearchPool technology department.
This has become critical as the platform has shown its global reach, 70.5% of ResearchPool users coming from outside of Europe through 2018 according to Google Analytics. At the same time, the platform continues to attract the widest audience of investment professional seeking investment intelligence of any new platform, owing to its open discovery nature.
About Mickaël Rouffiac
Mickaël Rouffiac launched his career as a developer and technical consultant in Shanghai in 2006 offering external technical advices to local companies. Until 2018, he was the head for web projects and architecture for several Chinese companies.
Mickael speaks five languages, codes in many others. He has published numerous technical and security notable industry leading papers. In the latest years, he led and worked on multiple big scale projects such as the establishment of Client Relationship Management and Enterprise Resource Programme which were taken from scratch to production, managing tens of millions of database entries gathered through multiple feeds sources.
He is married and has a baby girl. He will be based in Paris.
