LaBranche has served as chairman, CEO, and president since LaBranche and Co. Inc. became a public corporation in August 1999. He has served as a governor of the New York Stock Exchange and is a member of the NYSE’s Market Performance Committee. He is currently on the boards of the Securities Industry Automation Corporation and Lava Trading. His term will be completed in November 2004, when he will be eligible for nomination to a full three-year term.
