MICEX: The First Issue Of Information And Analytical Journal "Exchange Review" Has Appeared In Print

To make exchange markets more transparent, the MICEX has launched information and analytical journal "Exchange Review", intended for the professional participants of the financial market and a broad circle of individual investors. The new publication comes out every month as a supplementary to "Securities Market" journal with circulation of 10 000.

The new publication's aim is not so much to tell about the MICEX as to involve professional participants in discussing the problems of development of financial markets and the ways of improving exchange trading. The journal will focus on subjects dealing with the Russian exchange business. It will also feature reviews of the currency, stock and derivatives markets of the MICEX, news coming from the MICEX as well as regional and overseas floors and articles on the theoretical and practical aspects of the exchange business.

Some of the articles published in the first issue of "Exchange Review":

• "The Uniting of Currency Sessions is the Dictates of Time" (by the MICEX CEO A.Potemkin);
• "The New Information Policy" (by the MICEX Deputy CEO V.Petrov);
• "The Securities Market Infrastructure: Prospects of Development" (by Deputy Director of the National depositary center D.Solovyov);
• "Main International Tendencies in the Development of Exchanges" (by chief expert of the MICEX Information and Analytical Service K.Penzin).

"Exchange Review", being a specialized publication, has replaced "Indicator" journal, the best traditions of which "Exchange Review" is going to preserve and develop.
