MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), will be making seven Cash Tables available to the public through an online auction.
Starting on Monday, October 10 and ending on Friday, October 28, seven Cash Tables will be up for auction. The historic Cash Tables are over 100 years old and were used on the historic trading floor of the Exchange. The trading floor served as the central location where producers, processors and millers would gather to trade wheat, oats, corn and other commodities. Cash market trading occurred on these unique Cash Tables, where sellers would show potential buyers the various grains being offered.
