MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), has set a new open interest record following Monday’s activity with 90,546 contracts, making it the 7th-consecutive record.
Monday’s activity tops the previous record set on January 27 by more than 1,000. Open interest has increased 32 percent since the beginning of January. There have now been 10 days this month that have finished with top 25 open interest.
