MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), has concluded the month of July with a total volume of 148,607 and an electronic volume of 128,905.
This is the third-consecutive year the Exchange has reported total volume greater than 140,000 during the month of July. Total volume has remained higher than 115,000 since January 2014.
Total volume for the year now stands at 1,273,878. Open interest following Friday’s activity was 65,812. Hard Red Spring Wheat futures open interest is slightly higher than a year ago.
