MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), set a pair of top 20 volume records on Tuesday, including its ninth-highest electronic volume of all-time, finishing the day at 17,033 electronic contracts traded. Total exchange volume reached 17th-best on its daily charts, coming in at 17,687.
This is the second-straight day in which a top 20 record has been set by the Exchange, having done so on the electronic charts on Monday, as well. Total volume for the monthof April now stands at 85,096 contracts traded.
Open interest following Tuesday’s activity was 73,205.
