MGEX, a Designated Contract Market (DCM) and Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO), reports the 3rd-highest volume ever for the month of March, coming in at 128,115 contracts traded during the month.
Total electronic volume for March closed out the month at 109,499 contracts traded. Calendar year-to-date volume now stands at 520,957 after three months of activity, while fiscal year-to-date volume has reached 1,211,422, an 11 percent increase over this time last year.
Open interest following Tuesday’s activity was 71,595.
