Today, México Infrastructure Partners, S.A. de C.V. completed a Primary National Public Offer of capital development certificates, with ticker code “EXICK”" through Banco Nacional de México, S.A, a member of Grupo Financiero Banamex, División Fiduciaria in its capacity of fiduciary for amount of $819’000,000.00 pesos.
The “EXICK” offer was completed under the "capital calls" scheme. This first issue was for amount of $163’800,000.00 pesos for a twelve-year term representing 20% of the maximum issue amount, in such a manner that the Trust will be able to make other subsequent issues.
The Lead Broker was Casa de Bolsa Santander, S.A. de C.V., Grupo Financiero Santander México.
The main objective of the placement of these capital development certificates is to obtain necessary resources to invest essentially in projects from the energy and infrastructure sectors.
The business plan consists on the origination, negotiation, structuring, management, administration and divestment of infrastructure and energy assets through promoted companies, which will be centered on two types of assets. The first one consists on the acquisition of infrastructure and energy assets that are already in operation and generating cash flows, known as "brownfields". And the second one consists of infrastructure and energy projects in the process of development, which are known as "greenfields".
Capital investments located in the following sectors are sought:
Infrastructure - Communications and Transportation, Hydraulics and others.
Energy - which includes both Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency.
