MexDer And Asigna Announce Hiring Of A. Gary Flagler As Head Of International Business Development, Derivatives

A. Gary Flagler recently joined the Mexican derivatives exchange, MexDer, Mercado Mexicano de Derivados, S.A. de C.V. (“MexDer”), and, its local rated AAA Credit rating clearing House, Asigna, as Head of International Business Development. Both MexDer and Asigna are subsidiaries of Bolsa Mexicana de Valores, S.A. de C.V. (‘BMV”).

Mr. Flagler is a long-time derivatives industry veteran having worked at J.P. Morgan as an Executive Director – Sr. Business Development Manager & Strategic Account Management Officer for 27+ years. He worked closely with institutional clients accessing derivative products listed on major global exchanges. In addition, Mr. Flagler was actively involved in the Mexican derivatives industry, serving as J.P. Morgan’s Global MexDer Product Coordinator, and, President of the In-House Technical Committee for J.P. Morgan’s clearing member firm on Asigna.

Finally, Mr. Flagler was an active participant in the Commodity Markets Council (CMC). He most recently worked at Tacklebox Brand Strategy, a digital marketing firm before joining BMV’s MexDer and Asigna subsidiaries. Mr. Flagler attended Purdue University for undergraduate studies, and, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for graduate university studies.
