MetricStream, the world’s largest independent provider of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) apps and solutions, today announced the appointment of Anna Mazzone as Managing Director (MD) and General Manager (GM) of the company’s UK and Ireland operations. In her new role, Ms. Mazzone will be responsible for driving the business in the region with a customer-centric approach to growth, while also continuing to build on MetricStream’s vision of helping companies ‘Perform with Integrity’.
Ms. Mazzone brings to the table over twenty years of experience in global markets in GRC and the financial services industry at several companies such as BAML, Thomson Reuters, CME Group, Markit, Trunomi, and Aravo. In 2016, Anna was named by Innovate Finance in the ‘Women in Fintech Powerlist’ in part for her recognition that the intersection of regulation, data standards, technology developments, and industry expertise would enable efficiency in enforcement, better governance, and growth in commerce. Ms. Mazzone is non-executive director for the Open Data Institute, and a member of the Executive Leadership Council for Upwards, a Silicon Valley professional women’s organisation.

With Ms. Mazzone at the helm, MetricStream is poised to strengthen its presence in the UK and Ireland at a time when new market trends are accelerating around cyber-risk, operational resilience, BREXIT, GDPR, Senior Manager’s Regime (SMR), and complex regulatory compliance requirements in the region. Ms. Mazzone will lead the region in building and delivering innovative GRC solutions that enable customers to drive exceptional business performance based on a strong foundation of integrity and risk awareness.
