Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/MIB Index, effective using opening prices on Monday 2 July 2007:
- Banco Popolare – Societa Cooperativa (Italy, ISIN: TBC) will replace Banco Popolare di Verona e Novara (Italy, ISIN: IT0003262513), in the S&P/MIB Index, following the merger of the latter with Banca Popolare Italiana. The number of shares outstanding will be 669,829,726 the pre-capped Investable Weight Factor will be 1 and it will be added to the S&P/MIB GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) “Diversified Banks” sub-industry.
- Impregilo SpA , (Italy, ISIN IT0003865570) will replace Banca Popolare Italiana (Italy, ISIN IT0000064300, GICS: Financials) in the S&P/MIB Index, following the merger of the latter with Banco Popolare di Verona e Novara. Impregilo SpA number of shares outstanding is 401,474,813, the pre-capped Investable Weight Factor is 0.701 and it will be added to the S&P/MIB GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) “Construction & Engineering” sub-industry.
The merger remains subject to the signing of the merger deed and its registration.
