The Board of Directors of the Mercado Alternativo Bursátil (MAB) have agreed the appointment of Banco Europeo de Finanzas as a Registered Adviser in the MAB for growth companies and its registration on the Advisers Register. With this incorporation the total number of Registered Advisers on MAB stands at 26.
Banco Europeo de Finanzas, came into being in April 2007 as a financial project of cooperation between the Andalusian savings banks. Its current shareholders are Unicaja, Cajasol, Caja Granada and Cajasur. It is a specialised financial firm whose aim is to provide efficient, professional and customized services, especially to companies working on projects in the Andalusian region.
The role of the Registered Advisers is key to the future development of the market as all companies must rely on a Registered Adviser, who will assess the eligibility of candidate companies to list on the Market and will assist them to produce the information required at anytime.
Their functions will be, among others, to help companies to comply with information requirements and check that they do so, revise the information they present and answer any questions put to them by the MAB market regarding issuers, their activity and the achievement of their goals.
