Mercado A Termino De Buenos Aires Launches Soybean Oil Contract

Mercado a Termino de Buenos Aires (MATba) launched on July 16th the Soybean Oil contract. Futures and Options Contracts trade in the e-market and are quoted in US dollars. The contract size is 30 metric tons, and 18 consecutive contract months are listed.

Argentina is the main Soybean Oil exporter in the world and Matba becomes the first South American Exchange to list this contract.

Mercado a Termino de Buenos Aires, Argentina’s futures and options Exchange, was created on October 1907 and it currently lists 4 products: soybean, wheat, corn and sunflower. In its centennial, Matba plans to launch more new products.
