MEPs React To The European Commission's Proposals On Eurobonds Credit Rating Agencies And A Financial Transaction Tax - Update

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee will meet Commissioners Rehn, Barnier, Šemeta and Almunia, to discuss the eurozone crisis, in particular eurobonds, credit rating agencies and a financial transaction tax. MEPs will be able to react directly to the Commission's ideas on eurobonds, to be unveiled Wednesday morning.

9.00 – 10.30: Exchange of views with Joaquín Almunia, Commissioner for Competition.

15.00 – 17.00: Exchange of views with Michel Barnier, Commissioner for the Internal Market and Services

23 November 2011

16.00 – 17.30: Exchange of views with Olli Rehn, Commissioner for Economic and Monetary Affairs

17.30 – 18.30 Exchange of views with Algirdas Šemeta, Commissioner for Taxation and Customs Union, Audit and Anti-Fraud
