MEFF is pleased to offer to all members a new high speed access which will reduce line latency by more than 98%.
This service is provided using “dark fibre” circuits, in which it is possible to achieve line latency of below 1 millisecond, as opposed to the current latencies of 5 and 11 milliseconds on lines of 2 and 10 Mbps respectively.
This service is available immediately to all members who request it. The necessary procedures have been put in place to facilitate the migration of current clients without the need for a duplicate infrastructure.
MEFF continues studying new methods of connectivity and communications to the central host which allow for greater efficiency, responding to the demands of “high frequency trading”.
