Meeting Of The Board Of Oslo Børs On 29 May 2002

In a meeting today, the Oslo Børs Board has resolved to admit shares in Lerøy Seafood Group ASA to be listed on the Main List, on condition that a sufficient distribution of shares is achieved. The President of Oslo Børs is authorised to determine the first day of listing, but with the proviso that this must be no later than 19 June 2002.

Lerøy Seafood Group ASA is a leading exporter of seafood, and Norway’s largest exporter of salmon with a market share of approximately 15% in 2001. The company also exports whitefish products, pelagic products and shellfish, and appear as a full assortment seafood company with strong focus on quality. The most important markets for Lerøy Seafood Group ASA are Japan, France and Sweden, but the export goes to over 40 countries. The major part of the turnover is related to the subsidiary company Hallvard Lerøy AS.
