Violation charge for Fjord Seafood ASA
The Board of Oslo Børs resolved to impose a violation charge of NOK 500,000 on Fjord Seafood ASA. This is equivalent to five times the company's annual listing fee, and relates to a total of three breaches of the duty to disclose information to the market and to report to Oslo Børs that arose in connection with the company's preparation of a share issue in September 2001.

This decision may be appealed to the Oslo Børs Appeals Committee. Further to the provisions of chapter 26 of the Stock Exchange Regulations, any appeal must be submitted within two weeks.
Alvern ASA deleted from listing
The Board has also resolved to remove shares in Alvern ASA from the SMB List of Oslo Børs in light of the petition to wind up the company. This decision also applies to two bond issues, namely ISIN NO 001 000612.5 0% Alvern ASA convertible bonds 1999/2004 and ISIN NO 000180000.7 3.5% Alvern ASA convertible bonds 1998/2004. The last day of listing is to be 24 January 2002.
This decision may be appealed to the Oslo Børs Appeals Committee. Further to section 26-3 of the Stock Exchange Regulations, any appeal must be submitted within two weeks.
Two new members
In addition Oslo Børs gains two new members following the decision of the Board to approve Credit Suisse First Boston (Europe) Ltd. and Crédit Agricole Indosuez Cheuvreux Nordic AB as members. Both the new members will be entitled to participate in official quotation and trading for equity instruments. The management of Oslo Børs is authorised to determine the date for membership to come into effect and to make the practical arrangements required, including the necessary agreements between the new members and Oslo Børs.
