Marking Its 10th Anniversary The National Stock Exchange Of Lithuania Made Acknowledgements And Awarded Market Participants

On 12 September 2003, marking its 10th anniversary, the National Stock Exchange of Lithuania (NSEL) made acknowledgements to the institutions and programs that mostly contributed to the NSEL's development and awarded the most active market participants.

The NSEL acknowledged the United States Agency for International Development, European Community PHARE Programme, Euronext Paris, Federation of European Securities Exchanges and Partners for Financial Stability Program's East-West Management Institute for invaluable assistance and for invaluable contribution to the creation and development of the NSEL and fostering its growth and promotion.

Shares of Lietuvos Telekomas AB were declared the most liquid on the NSEL central market during past 10 years. Vilniaus Bankas AB and brokerage firm Suprema got the award for the most active trade on the NSEL since its first trading session.
