Mark F. Duffy Elected As Vice Chairman of CBOE

The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) today announced that its membership elected Mark F. Duffy as vice chairman of the Exchange and chairman of the Executive Committee for 2001. Duffy will serve a one-year term as vice chairman, effective at the CBOE's first board meeting on January 10, 2001.

"I look forward to working with Mark in this highly competitive environment," said William J. Brodsky, CBOE's Chairman and CEO. A CBOE member since 1985, Duffy first started working on the CBOE staff in 1975. Duffy is a partner of Cornerstone Partners and of Isomorphism, and is general partner of Fugue, a CBOE member organization.

Mr. Duffy is also beginning his third term as a member of the Board of Directors of the Exchange, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors and on several other committees.
