The Board of Directors of AIAF has authorised the incorporation and registration of Arcano, Banco Sabadell and Solventis as Registered Advisers and of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Banco Sabadell and Bankiaas Members of the MARF (the alternative debt market for SMEs operated by BME).
The decision follows the presentation by these firms of the requested documentation and the verification by the market authorities of the eligibility criteria these firms must meet to perform their functions.
All companies with securities admitted to trading on MARF must nominate a Registered Adviser that helps them throughout the listing process, for which this status acquires great importance in the functioning of this market.
Registered Advisers must have experience in guiding firms in relation to their activity on the stock market and in the preparation and supervision of prospectuses and other relevant financial documentation as well as advising them with respect to the obligations and criteria this entails.
The Members of MARF are the only entities allowed to execute buy and sell orders on the market and settle them in accordance with the regulations of this market. To this end they must prove they rely on the necessary human and technical resources to carry out these functions.
