Manulife Financial Corporation (US) Share Increase In The S&P ADR Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P ADR Indices, effective at the close of trading on Wednesday, April 28, 2004:
  • Manulife Financial Corporation (US) (Canada, NYSE: MFC, CUSIP: 56501R106, Sedol: 2492520) shares will increase by 341,904,121 shares to 805,000,000 shares. The shares will be adjusted to reflect the issuance of new shares as part of the acquisition of John Hancock Financial Services.
Company additions to and deletions from an S&P equity index do not in any way reflect an opinion on the investment merits of the company.
