After 14 years of dedication to the Portuguese Exchange, Manuel Alves Monteiro leaves its chair knowing that the tasks he had planned were accomplished.
Having followed and participated closely in the evolution of Capital Markets through Bolsa de Derivados do Porto, IMC - Instituto dos Mercados de Capitais, Interbolsa, Bolsa de Valores de Lisboa, Bolsa de Valores de Lisboa e Porto, and, lately, Euronext, he leaves for personal matters, which will not interfere with Euronext's strategy to fully integrate Lisbon in Euronext.
Euronext recognises Manuel Monteiro's personal contribution to the performance of this company, and wishes him good luck in his personal and professional career.
