Dierk Schaffer (48) was appointed Managing Director as of January 1, 2022. He is responsible for Market Risk and Control at the investment firm alongside Michael Görgens, who has been Managing Director for Markets and Services since August 2018. Michael Jaeggi will step down from the Management Board at the end of the first quarter of 2022 and focus on his duties at Boerse Stuttgart Group, Boerse Stuttgart GmbH and EUWAX AG.
In the capital markets business of Boerse Stuttgart Group, cats provides services for fully automated, bilateral off-exchange trading in eight European countries. Through cats, brokers and order flow providers interact with issuers and market makers in more than 1.8 million securities.
Dierk Schaffer joined Boerse Stuttgart Group in 2004 after working for a strategy consulting firm and in the institutional equities business of a bank. Until October 2021, he headed the Group Strategy department and the Partnership Office as well as the Market Development & Issuer Relations department. Since then, Schaffer has been Managing Director of Boerse Stuttgart Securities GmbH.
