Malaysian Central Depository: Transfer Of The Remaining CLOB Securities From The Securities Account Of CDP

Malaysian Central Depository Sdn. Bhd. or MCD is pleased to announce the transfer of the remaining 0.5% of the Central Limit Order Book International (CLOB) securities from the securities account of Central Depository Private Limited (CDP) to the securities accounts of the holders of the CLOB securities.

To facilitate the execution of the transfer, CDP shall provide all the securities account numbers and other particulars of all the holders of the CLOB Securities to MCD for the execution of the transfer on 1 October 2004 in accordance with the procedures set by MCD.

The remaining 0.5% of CLOB securities are the securities not released via Scheme A and Scheme B of the comprehensive CLOB solution. The comprehensive solution was successful with the release of 99.5% of the total CLOB Securities from the securities account of CDP to the securities accounts of the holders of the CLOB securities.
