Malaysia Derivatives Exchange Resolves Technical Difficulty, Market Proceeded As Usual

Malaysia Derivatives Exchange (MDEX) opened for trading at 11:00 a.m. today having resolved some technical difficulty in its system.

Earlier today , MDEX suspended trading temporarily at 10:15 a.m. in order to ensure market integrity for all trades on the exchange. MDEX took immediate remedial measures to rectify the problem which was resolved.

MDEX will continue to monitor the situation to ensure its system and all trading, clearing and settlement operations are functioning at optimum capacity.
