The market was marginally bearish in the month of April as it registered a month-on-month negative return on index of – 1.09% (-1.09% in US$ terms), 6.33% on a year-on-year basis. The market however, registered an increase in total value traded despite registering a decrease in total volume of shares traded in the month under review.
