Ms.Sopawadee Lertmanaschai, Acting Market for Alternative Investment (MAI) Managing Director, disclosed that, in line with the SET announcement regarding the temporary closure of the Exchange for trading on 12 September 2001 according to the severe terrorist attack in the United States of America, the MAI has postponed the first day of Brooker Group trading to 17 September 2001. The MAI had earlier issued an announcement that the trading of Brooker Group Plc. on MAI will commence today.
"To ensure that all investors and participants are fully confident regarding trading on MAI, we have therefore postponed Brooker's first day of trading to be 17 September 2001. The postponement is to protect investors' benefits and will not effect the company." Ms. Lertmanaschai said.
