Macquarie Goodman, Macquarie Airports And Aristocrat Leisure To Replace News Corporation And CSR Ltd In The S&P/ASX 50 Index

Standard & Poor’s will make the following changes in the S&P/ASX 50 Index effective after the close of trading Friday September 16th 2005:

Removals

News Corporation (voting) (Australia, SEDOL: B03Q907, GICS Code: 25401030) and News Corporation (Non Voting) (Australia, SEDOL: B03S204, GICS Code: 25401030), will be removed from the S&P/ASX 50 Index. This is in keeping with the November 16, 2004 announcement that they would be removed in four steps ending on September 16, 2005.

CSR Limited (Australia, SEDOL: 6238645, GICS Code: 15102010), will be removed from the S&P/ASX 50 Index, due to its failure to qualify for inclusion under the S&P/ASX 50 index rules.

Additions

Macquarie Goodman Group (Australia, SEDOL: B03FYZ4, GICS Code: 40401010) will be added to the S&P/ASX 50 Index. The Group's principal activities are industrial property ownership, funds management, property development, project and development management and property services. The company will be added to the S&P/ASX 50 GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Financials Sector and to the Real Estate Investment Trusts sub-industry. The Investable Weight Factor for this company will be 0.87

Macquarie Airports (Australia, SEDOL: 6543628, GICS Code: 20305010) will be added to the S&P/ASX 50 Index. The Group's principal activity is investment in airport assets. Its investment policy is to invest funds in accordance with the provisions of the governing documents of the individual entities within the Group. The company will be added to the S&P/ASX 50 GICS Industrials Sector and to the Airport Services sub-industry. The Investable Weight Factor for this company will be 0.91

Aristocrat Leisure Limited (Australia, SEDOL: 6253983, GICS Code: 25301010) will be added to the S&P/ASX 50 Index. The Group's principal activities are the design, development, manufacture and marketing of gaming machines, software, systems and other related equipment and services. It provides training, technical support, facilities management, logistics management, project services and repair and maintenance services. The company will be added to the S&P/ASX 50 GICS Consumer Discretionary Sector and to the Casinos and Gaming sub-industry. The Investable Weight Factor for this company will be 0.80
