Chad C. Stasky, a senior vice president at Lynch, Jones, & Ryan, Inc. has been appointed to head this office. For the past three years, he has traveled to Tokyo once every two months to study the commission recapture market and educate pension plans and consultants on the details of commission recapture. "While the benefits of commission recapture appealed to them," said Stasky, "they wanted to understand every aspect of commission recapture before putting their money into it. They have expressed a keen interest in doing business with us."
Stasky has worked primarily with the Pension Fund Association in Tokyo to lay the groundwork for expanding LJR's business opportunities there. The Association is extremely thorough in its dealings with LJR and Stasky believes the relationship will be fruitful.
"The sluggish Asian economy has led pension plans to look for money saving options. Commission recapture is an obvious choice for them to consider," stated Todd W. Burns, president of Lynch, Jones & Ryan, Inc. "Chad has done a terrific job of bringing LJR to the attention of the Japanese plan sponsor community."
An expert in commission recapture, Stasky is the ideal candidate to actively develop the region. Stasky joined LJR's plan sponsor division in 1997 and has 15 years of experience in financial services. For the last seven years, Stasky has focused primarily on new business development, as well as working with consultants and money managers.
