Further to the announcement on 26 February 2021, London Stock Exchange Group plc ("LSEG" or the "Company") confirms that 24,615,845 voting ordinary shares (the "Deferred Issue Shares") have been issued to BCP York Holdings (Delaware) L.P. in connection with the all-share acquisition of Refinitiv.
LSEG also confirms that admission of the Deferred Issue Shares to the premium segment of the Official List and to trading on London Stock Exchange's Main Market took place this morning at 8:00am, 1 March 2021 ("Admission").
Following Admission, LSEG confirms that its share capital consists of a total of 555,813,060 ordinary shares made up of: (i) 488,457,534 voting ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each, which carry one vote each; and (ii) 67,355,526 limited-voting ordinary shares of 6 79/86 pence each, which carry one-tenth of a vote each. LSEG does not hold any shares in treasury. Therefore, the total number of voting rights in LSEG on 1 March 2021 is 495,193,087. The above figure of 495,193,087 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, LSEG under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
