London Stock Exchange Price Format Rules Change from March 22

The London Stock Exchange has conducted a quarterly review of price format (tick sizes) for SETS order book securities. The effective date of the changes is Monday March 22, 1999. The changes will be disseminated via the London Market Information Link on Friday March 19, 1999. The price formats are determined as follows; "quarter" tick sizes for shares priced less than GBP5; "half" tick sizes for shares priced between GBP5 and GBP10; "whole" tick sizes for shares priced over GBP10.
