Construction of the Exchange's new eight storey building in Paternoster Square is progressing on schedule. The Exchange last year announced its intention to move to new headquarters in Paternoster Square by the first part of 2004.
The Exchange has been reviewing its options for enhancing the value of the Old Broad Street freehold. Nicholas Grimshaw and Partners will assist the Exchange, and its advisors City Offices, in securing a planning application for the Tower site.
The Exchange intends to submit a planning application to the Corporation of London in Autumn 2002, and will be in a position to release further details about the scheme at that stage.
