London Metal Exchange September 2001 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 4,673,846 lots in September 2001. This figure was made up of 4,438,318 lots of futures, 220,344 lots of options and 15,184 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date, 43,963,613 lots were traded of which 41,671,276 lots were futures, 2,186,382 lots were options and 105,955 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2000, 50,514,366 lots were traded of which 46,373,405 were futures, 3,870,362 were options and 270,599 were TAPOs.
