London Metal Exchange October 2001 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 4,998,281 lots in October 2001. This figure was made up of 4,683,376 lots of futures, 311,289 lots of options and 3,616 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date, 48,961,894 lots were traded of which 46,354,652 lots were futures, 2,497,671 lots were options and 109,571 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2000, 56,550,517 lots were traded of which 52,086,946 were futures, 4,179,802 were options and 283,769 were TAPOs.
