London Metal Exchange Monthly Volumes - September 2003

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 6,786,970 lots in September 2003. This figure was made up of 6,545,910 lots of futures, 233,244 lots of options and 7,816 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date 52,938,113 lots were traded of which 50,431,400 lots were futures, 2,353,923 lots were options and 152,790 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2002 43,585,056 lots were traded of which 41,794,110 lots were futures, 1,684,131 lots were options and 106,815 lots were TAPOs.
