London Metal Exchange Monthly Volumes - October 2003

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 7,495,672 lots in October 2003. This figure was made up of 7,006,186 lots of futures, 471,831lots of options and 17,655 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date 60,433,785 lots were traded of which 57,437,586 lots were futures, 2,825,754 lots were options and 170,445 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2002 49,266,394 lots were traded of which 47,302,618 lots were futures, 1,850,250 lots were options and 113,526 lots were TAPOs.
