London Metal Exchange Monthly Volumes - August 2004

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 5,275,466 lots in August 2004. This figure was made up of 4,998,074 lots of futures, 270,624 lots of options and 6,768 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date 47,792,001 lots were traded of which 44,609,191 lots were futures, 3,108,587 lots were options and 74,223 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2003 46,151,143 lots were traded of which 43,885,490 lots were futures, 2,120,679 lots were options and 144,974 lots were TAPOs.
