London Metal Exchange Monthly Volumes - August 2003

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 5,606,783 lots in August 2003. This figure was made up of 5,332,411 lots of futures, 270,286 lots of options and 4,086 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date 46,151,143 lots were traded of which 43,885,490 lots were futures, 2,120,679 lots were options and 144,974 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2002 39,105,079 lots were traded of which 37,454,427 lots were futures, 1,546,102 lots were options and 104,550 lots were TAPOs.
