London Metal Exchange May 2002 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 4,898,994 lots in May 2002. This figure was made up of 4,696,366 lots of futures, 185,850 lots of options and 16,778 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date, 24,714,164 lots were traded of which 23,557,121 lots were futures, 1,069,930 lots were options and 87,113 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2001, 25,005,587 lots were traded of which 23,749,232 were futures, 1,207,301 were options and 49,054 were TAPOs.
