London Metal Exchange May 2001 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 5,141,904 lots in May 2001. This figure was made up of 4.874,981 lots of futures, 256,865 lots of options and 10,058 lots of TAPOs.

During the year 2001, 25,005,587 lots were traded of which 23,749,232 lots were futures, 1,207,301 lots were options and 49,054 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2000, 29,894,946 lots were traded of which 27,338,819 were futures, 2,351,119 were options and 205,008 were TAPOs.
