London Metal Exchange August 2002 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 3,896,736 lots in August 2002. This figure was made up of 3,773,000 lots of futures, 122,630 lots of options and 1,106 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date, 39,105,079 lots were traded of which 37,454,427 lots were futures, 1,546,102 lots were options and 104,550 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2001, 39,289,767 lots were traded of which 37,232,958 were futures, 1,966,038 were options and 90,771 were TAPOs.
