London Metal Exchange August 2001 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 4,502,042 lots in August 2001. This figure was made up of 4,321,216 lots of futures, 176,487 lots of options and 7,339 lots of TAPOs.

During the year 2001, 39,289,767 lots were traded of which 37,232,958 lots were futures, 1,966,038 lots were options and 90,771 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2000, 45,077,993 lots were traded of which 41,370,174 were futures, 3,445,679 were options and 262,140 were TAPOs.
