London Metal Exchange April Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 5,388,860 lots in April. This figure was made up of 5,029,987 lots of futures, 349,743 lots of options and 9,130 lots of TAPOs. The new LMEX contract traded 4.,451 lots of futures.

The year-to-date trading figures are: 24,286,217 contracts traded in total of which 22,145,677 were futures, 1,945,041 were options and 195,499 were TAPOs.
