London Metal Exchange April 2003 Volume

The London Metal Exchange traded a total of 5,355,992 lots in April 2003. This figure was made up of 5,141,876 lots of futures, 212,025 lots of options and 2,091 lots of TAPOs.

During the year to date, 22,475,160 lots were traded of which 21,388,142 lots were futures, 1,056,281 lots were options and 30,737 lots were TAPOs. In the corresponding period in 2002 19,815,168 lots were traded of which 18,860,753 lots were futures, 884,080 lots were options and 70,335 lots were TAPOs.
